Dear Clients:

Client safety – and the safety of our team members – is always our #1 priority at Brown & Crona, LLC. Information about COVID-19 is changing daily and we are continually re-assessing how our firm should respond to increased risks.

Pursuant to the March 23, 2020, Order issued by the Public Health Administrator of the City and County of Denver, our firm will not be conducting in-person appointments at least until April 10, 2020, or until the restrictions mandated by the Order are lifted.  However, our team is working remotely to continue to serve the needs of our clients.  Phones will be answered during normal business hours and our team will have access to their e-mails.

Estate Planning/Estate and Trust Administration Clients

Due to the Order, we will not be conducting any in-person meetings to sign estate planning documents.  However, during this time, we can conduct meetings by telephone or video conferencing to: (1) begin the estate planning or estate or trust administration process; (2) review your current estate planning documents to determine if any updates need to be made (especially in view of the recently passed SECURE Act); (3)discuss the status of your existing estate/trust administration matter with our firm; and (4) other matters as determined by the supervising attorney.  If you would like to schedule a phone or video meeting for one of these purposes, please call our office and we will be happy to schedule it for you.

Litigation Clients

As you may know, the Chief Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court has suspended all non-essential matters through April 3, 2020, and reporting for jurors has been suspended through May 15, 2020.  If you have an active litigation matter, please be advised that we are continually monitoring the situation with the Courts and analyzing how it relates to your specific matter.  We will communicate with you as developments occur and advise you on what options are available.

New Clients

We are accepting new clients in our various practice areas.  If you have a matter you would like to discuss, please call our office.

Please understand that we are all trying to navigate the best ways to handle this dynamic situation. We are receiving updates from the Colorado Courts and monitoring the mandates from our City, State and Federal government so we can make the most educated decisions on how to best provide the best service to our clients.  We appreciate your patience as we all work through this situation.
